We gladly offer some of our time and talent to interested visitors like you. God has given much to us, personally and professionally, and we would like to respond in kind. From time to time, our staff will offer free writings on a variety of topics that will inform and guide you on your journey toward personal and relational growth.

These words are from Alfred Tennyson’s, “The Poet’s Song.” 

                                   And [the poet] chanted a melody loud and sweet,
                                   That made the wild-swan pause in her cloud,
                                   And the lark drop down at his feet.

As he, you may believe that words can be so powerful as to change the course of one's life, to bring peace to the soul and tame the wild madness within. It is our sincere desire and earnest prayer that what we present to you through our reasoned and heartfelt writings will meet your expectations and accomplish God’s purposes.

You will discover most of our writings do not remain at the level of basic information or commonly expressed ideas, but move beyond to independent thinking that has brewed over decades. We have repeatedly challenged and redefined our understanding, knowledge, and beliefs. The foundation of our writings is formed from Biblical truth. We build on that by discerning Biblically congruent, or at least not in opposition to, information from the medical and social sciences. We believe understanding spiritual and human dynamics and their interactions is critical to self-understanding, wisdom, sanctification (change) and maturity. These principles inform our writing, as well as our counseling.

Our writings offer a snapshot of a wide variety of subjects, which we trust will guide you on your journey to grow your faith, connect you to God, mend a troubled relationship and enjoy life.
